Knowledge Reuse

Every day, people ask AI systems questions that have already been answered well — by a colleague last week, by a community last month, or by the same person in a chat they can no longer find. Generating that answer again costs computation and time, and the earlier, reviewed answer is often better than a fresh one.

This section is about turning useful answers into knowledge that can be found and reused. We cover how reuse works in practice: matching a new question to an existing answer, deciding when an answer is too old or too time-sensitive to reuse, and keeping attribution, privacy and moderation intact when knowledge moves between people. We also look at what this means for teams — shared knowledge bases, onboarding, and the difference between a searchable archive and knowledge people actually reuse.

Where we describe EcoRouter's own Knowledge features, we explain the rules that govern them, including what is never reused or shown publicly. To see public knowledge in action, explore the Knowledge library.

Smarter AI starts with a better route.

Explore a more efficient way to use artificial intelligence with EcoRouter: it reuses useful knowledge when possible and routes new questions to the most efficient AI capable of answering them.
